The kind of visa that you require for entry into the UAE depends on several different factors such as your nationality, the purpose of your planned visit and its planned duration. Individuals who are a GCC national or a passport holder from Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, France, France, Germany, Iceland, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal, UK, and USA, do not need to apply for visa. They are entitled to get visa on arrival as per their passport.

Documents Required.

  • Passport Copy
  • Passport Sized Photograph
  • Passport page with exit stamp, if you’ve visited Dubai before (Only for Iraqi)
  • Confirmed return air tickets

Types of Visa

Single entry visa permits the visa holder to use it the approved visa for a single entry to UAE. Once the passenger departs from UAE, he or she cannot re-enter with the same visa, he or she must apply for a new visa. Multiple entry visas are valid for multiple entries from the day of his or her first entry date and the holder can re-enter UAE as per visa validity.

If you hold a passport that requires a visa before entering UAE, then you must take the following steps.

Is it compulsory to obtain a visa to enter UAE to enter UAE?

Visa is compulsory for all non-UAE citizens to travel to UAE. This is not applicable for citizens of the GCC nations, or a passport holder from Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, France, France, Germany, Iceland, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal, UK, and USA.

Do infants and kids require visa to enter UAE?

All infants as well as kids traveling with their non-UAE citizen parent will require a visa to enter the UAE.

How long will it take to get my visa?

Visa processing usually take 3 to 4 working days. But this also depends on the prompt submission of required documents as well as the meeting of eligibility norms.

Is visa fee refunded in case my application is rejected?

This is not possible, as the UAE immigration authority does not recompense for the rejected visa applications.

What are the consequences of extended stay without the renewal of visa in UAE?
